Last summer I went to Cuba. I went to Cuba with my best friend Inês, Mary and Soraia. Cuba was so hot. I met lots of new friends. My new friends were spanish but I also made cuban friends, they were very nice. In the mornning I got up at 11.00 and then I went to the beach because the weather was very, very good and hot! Next I had lunch. The food was delicious! When I finished my food I went to the beach again and went in the sea. In Cuba the sea was very hot. At night I went to a disco in a five star Hotel.
I think Cuba was spectacular and a beautiful country.
I liked it very much, and I returned to Portugal very pleased.

My Last Holiday by Ana Filipa
On my first holiday without my parents I went to London with my friend Gabriela. I met her at International House, one year ago. At beginning I didn't talk very much with her, but after we began mingle and now we are very good friends.
We went to a homestay and we met people from differents parts of the world. There we met Nami, a Chinese girl. We also met Italian people and French too. It was fabulous, extremely interesting because we learned different languages, cultures and tried different types of food.
In London we did a lot of things. We visited the museums, like the Wax Museum, we saw London Eye and we spoke a lot of English.
At night we went to clubs with our new friends and it was fun. Nami was very lovely and sweet. Gabriela, Nami and I were always together.
I felt very well and happy, but very exhausted too. I missed my family, but was a fabolous trip. I loved my holidays!

On my last holiday I went to the United States of America with my mother and my brother because my parents had just divorced. I arrived in Boston airport but the journey was depressing. In New York I saw Central Park. In Central Park's garden there were people sunbathing because the buildings were enormous. On the last week I went by jeep to Niagara falls. When I saw the falls I was speechless because they were amazing. It was an amazing holiday.

I went to Sunny Beach in Bulgaria with my friends Duda and Gabi.
It was great.
I met two new friends. They were very funny and cool.
I went to the beach. I ate strange food. The soups were horrible. I hate Bulgarian soups.
However, I liked Bulgarian ice-cream very much. It was delicious.

On my summer holidays I boarded a plane and I traveled to Barcelona in Spain without my parents! I flew with my friends. It was fantastic because I socialized a lot! When the plane landed in Barcelona we went to a five star hotel. It was very luxurious! The room was very big and the view from there were very beautiful.
I saw the city in two days. On the first day we visited "Sagrada Família" and museums.We didn't have enough time to see everithing in the city because on the second day we experienced the 'Barcelona Sun'. We sunbathed and swam in the sea at the famous beach in Barcelona.
In the afternoon me and my friends met two teenagers and mingled with them. In the evening when the sun desapeared we watched a football game: Barcelona against Real Madrid. I was very happy but without home routine! At night we always went out to restaurants and appreciated the food of Spain. I stayed for two days.
I loved this trip and I will try to fly to more cities. When I arrived back in Portugal I went to my home. My parents kissed me very much, and I played computer games!
